Urban Dictionary says "from olde english, to give a cold shoulder, to blow off, to disregard, to isolate, bonus points for doing it in the month of December".
Do you disregard, avenge, blowoff or isolate during the twelfth month? What is blow off worthy and what is sacred? No brainer on the later but really let's weigh in.

Tax season is around the bend, your money is out the door as fast as you earn it, the charities are all knocking and it's quite possible your life force will be unrecognized without the giving gifts or the baking of Christmas cookies to share with friends and loved ones.
Happy Christmastide! December is full! There are things 'decembering' worthy. Too much stimulation over products whiles supplies last for one! Worrying how to spend the use it or lose it medical flex spending account balance by the 31st for two. And for three, I'm in advent of the personal inventory to condense and decompress a years worth of life in a few short weeks, come up with a New Year's Resolution to right my self for the coming year.
December tis time to make a christmas list, string the garland and welcoming the serving up of food & preserves. Tradition this year includes baking a key lime pie from backyard lime and a house with a white faux flocked Christmas tree trimmed in pink maribou feathers and chartreuse bows. I feel very strongly that the colors of Christmas are not limited to red, green, silver or gold.
Resolve myself towards the tradition of booking a passage every December that allows the luxurious expansive sea to put out the past and ring in the new year. Not to worry over the visit to tax accountant (or bring over a plate of cookies with receipts & scattered papers).
Don't spend December Decembering when you could be reenacting your favorite themes culminating in the true meaning of December; Decemberween! Pick yourself up from months of building up to the 12th month without panic and shake a tail feather to a new year with thanks and glory for whatcha got and what cha give off...peace of spirit and good will.
