in spite of myself

in spite of the fact i'm one leg up, or one leg down temporarily, i event to venture against admonisions to take it easy and slow.  i celebrate my semi state of infirmary today.  i am akin to my own devices.  i have not joyful the  jumpy company of my campanera Rosalie to assuage my healing impulses, or should i say "gimp"pulses?  but in spite of myself I miss her.  i have a better chance getting in physical therapy 3X a day now. 

next week is brownie troop financials close out and the week after that I have to coordinate Teacher's appreciation week at her school.  If i'm not careful, i'll miss the train to get on getting down to my dreams and wishes in tasks during post knee surgery rehab time off.  i have lessons to learn over my sewing machine and books to read.

So far i've finally finished The Brief and Wonderous Life of Oscar Wao, The Jane Austen Book Club, as well as Those Who Save Us.
